I support the right of people to die if that's their choice. However, it's worth noting that a major motive for making this permissible isn't humanitarian but economic. Societies are running out of funding for sick, poor, and mentally ill people. It's a little ominous that they may soon be encouraging people to commit suicide because they are poor or depressed.
